Tectonic Plates, Volcanoes and Tsunamis

Starting from the very basics our notes go through everything you need to know about physical geography. We include simple yet effective diagrams which help understanding but many must also be learned for the exams in June.

Physical geography is the most learning intensive part of the JC Geography course but our notes make sure you get an excellent grasp on it before the exams.

Rivers, the Sea and Glaciation

These are the largest units in the JC Geography course, and are often bundled together as each unit explores the various mechanical processes responsible for erosion, transportation and deposition associated with them. Each process contains multiple diagrams and can cause it to be overwhelming.

Our notes help simplify things with simple diagrams and easy to follow and remember explanations for these processes, removing all the fluff information distracting your learning.

Economic Activites

Often overlooked as part of the JC Geography course the economic activities are very popular questions to come in exams and are quite easy to do well in. Students must take advantage of these easy questions to achieve the highest possible grade.

Our notes break down each economic activity, highlighting key concepts and key words as well as using case studies relevant to each activity to ensure you leave no easy marks behind in your exams in June.

Social Geography

Many students tend to focus more on the physical aspect of Geography when preparing for their exams when an equally large part of the course is actually under social Geography. While Social Geography doesn't contain large diagrams to memorise, it is quite theory intensive.

Our notes target specific key concepts, terms and case studies that you need to know to succeed in the Geography exam. Our notes help simplify what usually accounts for dozens of pages in Geography textbooks into small snippets of exam focused information aimed to make you succeed.

Social Geography covers:

  • Population and Migration
  • Rural vs. Urban Settlement
  • Urban Change
  • Economic Development and Inequality
  • Globalisation
  • Human Development and Assistance
